Exhibition De Tastbare Stad / Tangible City, Galerie LUMC, Leiden, 2025

The exhibition Tangible City at LUMC explores the city as a living, breathing landscape. Often seen as a place of acceleration and transience, this time the urban environment is seen as a space where stillness and natural order can be found. Through photographs and new ceramic sculptures, it invites visitors to slow down, observe, and rediscover moments of harmony within the metropolis.

The works zoom in and out between the monumental and the intimate, connecting nature and culture, timelessness and impermanence. The ceramic works deepen this exploration by translating fleeting observations into tactile forms. Presenting the viewer new layers of perception, offering the city not as a place of alienation, but as a site of quiet presence and contemplation.
